Toposware Updates for the Topos Developer Community, 02 January 2024

As the first edition of what will be a regular update, this edition will be a bit different from those that follow, as we will be covering more than the last half-month of progress and changes. In future editions, the focus will be on what is new with Toposware, interesting projects or events withing the Topos ecosystem, and notable changes to projects that Toposware contributes to.

Toposware is structuring itself for a successful 2024

🚀 Toposware’s strategic seed extension round closed with support from Evolution Equity Partners and other leading figures across web3 and Enterprise verticals.

🚀 Toposware has a new Head of Engineering, Community Lead, Dev Rel Lead and Enterprise Programs Lead.

⚡ we are continuing to assemble a world-class advisory council with the additions of Sandeep Nailwal and Andrea Kalmans.

🏎️ Toposware’s Enterprise Early Access Program has received strong early support from industry and service & product partners as we target a New Years kick off. Built around a foundation of Educate, Innovate, Access and Accelerate - we are excited to be bringing innovative Enterprises into the world of Zero Knowledge. 🏎️ Aligned with our Enterprise focus, our new memberships in Hyperledger and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance have exposed us further to the amazing projects, teams and thought leadership in the space. Real-world use cases are core to the thesis that Toposware is driving towards - and its exciting to see like minded teams advancing these aims in production.

📣 We've launched the Topos 🔎 Builders Program, which is a comprehensive learning experience for builders that will foster development and community growth. The initial cohort of builders have gone through initial build milestones and there are several great projects deployed on the Topos testnet including:

Dev & Tech Update

📝 MVP - The team delivered the MVP and provided a demo demonstrating a Trustless Asset Transfer built on top of several key components of the Topos Protocol.

👐 Testnet - We've successfully launched Tesntnet on time and we’ve increased both the transaction speed and throughput as well as started to create benchmarks and observability.

🔎 Dev - The crypto team has made significant strides in optimizing the plonky2 prover, both in terms of execution time and memory requirements. The new code is currently being audited and in preparation for that, the team ensured that our zkEVM implementation passes the complete ethereum test suite.

Marketing, Events & Community

🎈 We believe that progress is best achieved when ideas are shared, connections are forged, and collaborations are nurtured. In the last year, we’ve traveled from Austin to Prague, to Istanbul, to meet with partners, builders, and academics that will help us bring our vision to market.
